Every Sunday my father, a chef, would make a huge breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, toast, pancakes, or waffles, fruit salad, muffins, juice, and coffee/tea. It was a time to gather as a family. We would talk and laugh and enjoy being together after a busy week. And of course the food… oh the food… Simple comfort.
In a nod to his memory, I offer “Sunday breakfast”.
